Located on the hilltop of Haut Astarac in the protected zone « Natura 2000 », Ensarnaut is in the middle of the most preserved and wild part of the Gers. Here, nature is queen and this 65 acres site is dedicated to environment protection.
23 ponies live around the 2 eco-friendly big and bright accommodations. Nearby the owners’ house and in the old barn, “Côtés Lauriers” (68m²) has been renewed with authentic and pure materials (clay, wood,…) that give a peaceful atmosphere to the rooms. Facing South and East, it stays fresh in summer and warm in winter. Its covered belvedere, terrace and private garden allow you to enjoy the landscape during every season. The accommodation is fully equipped with a nice open space living room, kitchen with fireplace, overlooked by a mezzanine for 2 persons. One room for 2 takes you directly to the garden and has its own bathroom with shower. The toilets are conventional but there is also dried toilets so you can try ! All the cleaning products are green and available. All the beds are twins but can be doubles (no need to take sheets – they are available). If you would like to, some 200km of marked trails can be followed for a walk, horseback rides or bike tour. A picnic next to the lake to observe butterflies, birds, insects and flowers is also an option. Artistic and outdoors activities for everyone are available there and only for visitors.
