Whether baroque, romantic, classical or contemporary, chamber music, or recital, with a part reserved for jazz, shared music is at the heart of the approach of Musicales des Coteaux de Gimone.
The gentle slopes of the Gers, with a backdrop of the Pyrenees, sites such as the abbey church of Simorre, the Abbey of Boulaur, but also the charming chapels in the heart of the villages, constitute a natural and architectural heritage that compose the case and the places of our concerts.
The musicians, top performers from all over Europe, are there to share with the audience, music lover or neophyte, their commitment and their talent in the service of music in its highest expression, in a spirit of openness and of conviviality.
Master classes public, mediation actions and village meals complete and enrich the programming.
The theme of this year's festival is "Expressions du lyrique", its artistic director is François Dumont.
