A magnificent course that takes you through fields, along a stream, in the woods of a castle...without ever losing sight of the charming village of Sainte - Marie.
It will also allow you to discover the 5 churches of the town: the parish church in the heart of the village, those of Saint-Martin du Hour, Saint-Germain, Travès and Saint-Pé du Bosc.
The description of the trail is for sale at the tourist office Coteaux Arrats Gimone (Gimont and Simorre).
1. Go to the church by bypassing the rural home, then along the cemetery. Turn right.
Turn left at the intersection and go up the road for 1 km.
2. At the intersection, turn left onto the small road and continue left onto the ridge path.
After the grove, the road turns left. Continue for 200 m.
3. Follow the cobblestone road to the left, then go down towards the farm. Go around it on the left, cross the valley and go up along the wood.
Take the D105 right for a few meters.
4. Go down the valley to the left by the path that runs along the fields until the stream.
Variant: follow the stream on the left to reach point 6.
5. Continue along the tree-lined path up to the ridge. Before the descent, turn left, pass a ruin and go down to the left until the small lake.
Go straight ahead and down the valley.
6. Follow the stream, cross over to the other side. Enter the undergrowth, then walk along the crops.
7. In the woods, at the crossroads, turn left, cross the stream and go up to D105. Take the left to join Sainte-Marie.
Motor vehicles are not permitted. The route is suitable for horse riding, hiking, mountain biking and electric bikes.
