This loop will allow you to follow a part of the way of St Jacques de Compostela and discover pleasant passages in lake borders and countryside, the district of Cahuzac and its chapel as well as a panorama on the bell tower of the bastide.

The description of the trail is for sale at the tourist office Coteaux Arrats Gimone (Gimont and Simorre).

From the pool parking lot, follow the yellow and black markings for PR® number 1.

1. Go to the back of the parking lot, go around the tennis court on the right.

2. Cross the bridge on the Gimone, turn right along the lake. Continue to the right for 700 m on the path that borders the river.

3. Before crossing a footbridge, turn left. Continue to the sewage treatment plant, bypass it and continue left. Reach the lake. Go straight ahead and pass under the bridge.

4. At the small lake, turn right (you are on the GR 653) and follow the path straight ahead. Cross the D.12 and reach the chapel of Cahuzac. Go around it on the right and turn left onto the small road that runs along the railway track. Continue for 800 m.

5. Take a path on the left that crosses a field and then climbs up into a hedge. Join a road and take it to the right. At the fork, turn left into the path of Endecis, then continue on a dirt road for 900 m.

6. At the fork, take the dirt road to the left in the direction of Ferme Vitrac. Cross the Tounet road and continue to the buildings of the nursery. Turn right, along the Gendarmerie and join the D 12.

7. Cross then take the driveway of the nursery. At the parking lot continue by the path with grass.Join a dirt road. Turn right and then left to the road. Cross two bridges and arrive at the stop sign.

8. Turn left. Go around the building to enter the parking lot. Pass behind the park "Le P'tit vélodrome". Drive along and continue straight to the path of the slaughterhouse. At the crossroads, turn left into the alley and continue on a grassy road. Go under the bridge and find the path taken on the way.

2. Reach the parking lot.

Motor vehicles are not allowed. The route is suitable for hikers, equestrians, mountain bikes and electric bicycles.
