Internationally-renowned Japanese artist Teruhisa Suzuki has been commissioned to create two permanent works of Land Art in the communes of Villefranche d'Astarac and Saint-Elix d'Astarac.
Kazé, in Saint-Elix, means ‘wind’ in Japanese. This imposing sculpture of woven branches evokes a cyclone trapped in the forest.
Produced outdoors, these works offer a different approach to nature and the environment, through art and an artistic perspective.
