This big loop of 42 km around Gimont will make you discover the villages in the surroundings: Aubiet, Lussan, l'Isle Arné while returning by Maurens and Giscaro.
Departure from the tourist information office in Gimont.
From the Tourist Office, head towards the Collège Edouard Lartet, chemin de Larteton. Pass in front of the college (Street Art works) and arrive at Touget road. Turn left and continue straight. At the second intersection on the left, turn onto Enrobert road.
At the bottom of the path of Enrobert, turn right on the path of St Jean. Continue straight. After passing under the bridge, turn immediately to the left. Pass the small bridge over the Gimone and continue until the junction with the D12.
Turn left onto the D12 and immediately take a right at the first intersection. Climb the path to the church of St Jean until the crossroads and turn right. Turn right and climb the path to En Sarrade.
After 3 kms on the chemin d'En Sarrade, turn left at the second intersection. Continue straight until the lake.
The road is divided into two "Y", take the road on the left.
At the intersection, turn left. Pass the bridge and join the D924.
Turn right on the road to Toulouse and turn on the first left, chemin du Barry. Pass through the village of Aubiet or continue right on the D924
After leaving the village, turn left towards L'isle-Arné. Turn right at the first intersection. Continue straight for 4 kms.
Arrive at the village of Lussan. Turn left on the D149 and continue until L'isle-Arné.
At the chapel of Paillan, turn right on the D149.
Turn left in the village of L'Isle-Arné and follow the path to Ladevèze.
Pass the chapel of L'Isle-Arné.
At the chapel of Paillan, turn right on the D149.
Turn left in the village of L'Isle-Arné and follow the path to Ladevèze.
Pass the chapel of L'Isle-Arné.
After the place called La Mousserie, leave the paved road to follow the path that goes left. It is the GR653 (path of St Jacques de Compostelle). It will allow you to reach the tar again.
At the intersection with Chemin du Tounet, turn right.
Go down the path of Tounet until it ends to find the D12.
Turn left on the D12 then right on the path of the Pont au Lait.
After the bridge, at the stop sign, turn left on the path of Montiron.
At the next stop, turn right. Go up towards les Capucins.
Go around the esplanade des Capucins and continue straight on chemin des Capucins and rue Montplaisir. At the small roundabout, turn right on the road to Cazeaux.
At the red light, cross the D4 and continue straight towards Maurens.
Turn left to go up to the village of Maurens.
In the village, at the crossroads before the church, turn left. Continue for 2 kms.
At the crossroads, turn left. Continue straight on the path to Giscaro towards Gimont.
