Gimont’s main lake, Cahuzac district.
This communal lake, close to the city center is easily accessible thanks to the many parking lots nearby. Located next to a motorhome area, and equipped with a fishing area for people with reduced mobility, this lake is very popular among locals for walking.
Silure, carps, carnivores and white fish, the fish are numerous and the fish population of this lake will satisfy the majority of fishermen provided they respect the walkers, numerous around the lake.
For more tranquility, it is advisable to go fishing on the lake of Gimont 2, located a few tens of meters.

The tour of the lake (0.7 km) is fully moved for the ride and accessible for people with reduced mobility and strollers.
A second lake closely resembles the main lake in terms of fish population. It is however smaller. This old gravel pit is less frequented than the main lake but it can sometimes be more difficult to fish because of the high presence of plants during the summer.
