The Gimont festival takes place from Thursday 14 to Saturday 16 August.
Weekend programme:
- Thursday 14 August: at 8pm, come and enjoy a spit-roasted pig dinner prepared by young farmers at the Esplanade des Capucins. Price: €20 for adults and €12 for children under 10. There will be bands playing music throughout the evening, as well as inflatable games and wooden games. You can also enjoy a concert by Duo Enjoy, featuring pop rock and variety music. Reservations can be made at the tourist office on 05 62 67 77 87.
- Friday 15 August: for fishermen, a fishing competition is being organised in the morning at Lake Gimont. And for pétanque enthusiasts, there will be a competition at the boulodrome all day long.
- Saturday 16 August: from 7.30pm, the central hall in Gimont will come alive with inflatable games (playland and rodeo) and a concert by La Frangine. At 10:30 p.m., a light-filled procession will make its way to the lake, followed by fireworks at 11 p.m. At 11:30 p.m., you can enjoy a concert by La Frangine. The evening will be hosted by a DJ. Food will be available on site.
