The official commemoration of the Maquis de Meilhan will take place on Sunday 6 July at 9.30am.
The commemorative ceremony for the 81st anniversary of the battle will take place at the memorial site in Villefranche-d'Astarac.
At 9:30 a.m.: Welcome to guests and music performed by the Masseube-Seissan Harmony Band.
At 10:00 a.m.: Reading of the History of the Meilhan Maquis, speech by the Prefect, roll call of the dead, and laying of wreaths.
The ceremony will end at 10:40 a.m.
