The Académie du Pôle Vocal Musiques en Astarac is coming to Simorre church on Saturday 26 July at 6pm. Come and enjoy a fabulous concert by the Astarac Academy Choir.
The Académie du Pôle Vocal Musiques en Astarac opens its rehearsals to the public at 2pm. The concert will take place at 6 p.m. with the performance of a programme based on Bach, with commentary by its choirmaster Christiane Nadalet.
Formed in 2017, the Académie choir comprises 12 to 16 highly experienced singers, trained in vocal technique as well as music and style. The variable geometry of this formation offers varied programmes enabling these singers to tackle Renaissance polyphony as well as contemporary music.
