The Abbey of Sainte Marie de Boulaur, located in the Save-Gimone valley on a small hill, welcomes you within its 12th-century walls, home to Cistercian nuns who live by the charism of prayer and agricultural work.
The sisters will show you around the 12th-century abbey church, part of the 17th-century cloister and the 14th-century chapter house. You can also visit the agricultural complex, the 21st-century Cistercian barn, which combines architectural concepts from both the 12th and 21st centuries.
You are invited to discover the monastic products (cheeses, pâtés, jams, flours, yoghurt, beers, pasta, and cakes) made on site.
The sisters welcome you to discover their cultural and architectural heritage.
