As part of the commemoration of the 120th anniversary of the 1905 law, a conference will be given on the theme of sport and secularism by Georges Bringuier.
"Sport is an integral part of society and does not escape the questions posed by secularism and its attacks. What laws and regulations govern these questions? What were the responses of the IOC and the NOC to the Paris Games? Sport is inherently 'secular' and plays a decisive role in the march towards equality for women and men.
