The cultural event "Le Chemin des Arts", created in 2022, takes place on the last weekend of August in the city of Gimont.
This event invites you to discover on foot the bastide of Gimont. Stroll in Gimont, enter cultural and tourist places to discover works of art. It will also be possible to enter usually closed places in order to discover the exhibited works. After this visit, you will have a new perspective on the city of Gimont!
The Arts Trail will allow you to wander while marveling at the works of art. Wearing good shoes, take your time in the alleys of Gimont to discover heritage jewels for a weekend. Dare to push the doors!
This event is organized by the committee, with the precious help of Gimontois to put stars in your eyes.
With each new edition, you will see emerging new artists, new encounters and collaborations. Projects between artists will also be born. You will have the opportunity to meet, discuss, and exchange with artists and locals.
Take the time to look, admire, contemplate... and especially to savor this unique moment. Each work invites you to a unique journey into the heart of its artist’s universe. Art is both one and multiple: it reveals itself differently to each person, according to their history, their sensitivity, their gaze. It is this diversity of feelings that makes all its wealth.
Discover and rediscover the Cahuzac Chapel, the Evesquerie, the Saint-Nicolas Chapel, the former production site Comtesse du Barry, the Central Hall or even the Brasserie Jean Brasse.
