A few years ago, Guillaume and Grégoire wanted to create a small vegetable garden and work the land. Today, two hectares are worked and in addition to the Mawagits farm, an association of the same name has been created to deal with all topics around agroecology.
The farm allows managers to cultivate and plant trees and shrubs, sell seedlings and have a diversified market gardening. Gemmotherapy which is a branch of aromatherapy is also one of the activities.
On the side of the association, it allows to create events, training on agroecology and to communicate on their ways of doing around three themes: raise awareness on agroecology with workshops, conferences and guided tours, share around grafting to preserve local varieties, and raise awareness about the nutritional and taste values of products from living and preserved soils.
The "Mawagasin" (the farm store) has also been created to practice farm sales twice a week between May and November. The products of the farm but also from neighboring farmers are offered: bread, cheese, flour, eggs, etc.
In summer, the shop is opened on wednesdays and fridays from 05:30 to 07:30pm.
Finally, many activities are offered with the beautiful days: themed meals, evening concerts etc.
The farm is a real place of life and conviviality where all generations like to meet.
